Sarajevo So Place of Wild Dog Evacuation

SARAJEVO - Bosnia's capital, Sarajevo, currently met by wild dogs. The condition occurred because the ban killing wild animals issued by the Bosnian government.

Many Bosnians in other areas finally throw stray dogs in place to the city. During these Bosnians often shoot wild dogs in the environment. Besides dogs, Bosniaks are also known also love shooting feral cats.

A large number of cases of killings of stray dogs make animal protection activists in the country demanded the government to issue a ban. But the ban is not followed by the development of animal control facilities in the regions of Bosnia.

Until now, many people were confused about what to do with stray dogs in the neighborhood. The only animal control facility is owned Bosnian city of Sarajevo, the residents are also throwing the dog into the Bosnian capital.

"Actually, the ban was good, but the government did not prepare the facilities necessary to carry out the ban," said an animal protection activist in Bosnia, Amela Turalic, as quoted by the Huffington Post, Friday (12/07/2012).

Turalic is the sole caretaker of the animal control center located in the country. He was aware of the growth of wild dogs actually increased in Sarajevo. He said it was better stray dogs killed.

Concerns with the large number of dogs is expressed by many residents. They worry that the dogs were not healthy and could have bitten them.
