Actress Barbara Windsor said the idea of a giant rubber duck that sailed on the River Thames is the right way to campaign fundraising and it certainly raises a smile and laughter from all who see it.
"After warning Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth, the floating Olympic rings and David Beckham flew to the opening ceremony of the Olympics, the Thames has really contributed to the year," Windsor said, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Wednesday (12/12/2012).

Windsor, who was the founder Fundation, said he hoped the action that has made giant duck will encourage others to participate with their own ideas.
"We can accept strange things and we will provide funding to the best ideas," said Windsor.
A team of eight people spent more than 800 hours of cutting and welding of the parts on the giant duck to make sure the duck is airtight before being sent down to the water.
