Victory of Palestine is a strategic attack

JERUSALEM - According to former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, Palestinian victory in the United Nations (UN) is a strategic attack on Israel. Livni claimed that Israel was basically able to resolve the issue through dialogue.

Livni rate, Palestinians are now able to bring charges against Israel in the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands. And after that, they received recognition as a state and Jerusalem as its capital, without having to negotiate with Israel.

In addition to looking at the victory of Palestine as an attack on Israel, Livni argued, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could actually solve this problem. The trick is to engage in dialogue with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

"In the future, the negotiations with the Palestinians will further worsen the position of Israel," Livni said on Israel Radio, Friday (30/11/2012).

Livni is a competitor Netanyahu in the upcoming election. Fraction Livni also trying to grab the most seats in the Knesset. Female politicians is predicted to get nine or 10 seats, but the prediction was still in doubt.

Sitting in the Cabinet, Livni Israel appeared as a political figure who has a good reputation in the world. Livni also known for its support for the two-state solution to defuse the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

However, Livni name tarnished after Israel invaded Gaza in 2009. Even the English court had ordered the arrest of Livni because she was accused of committing war crimes.

"Right now everything is upside down, Israel negotiate with those who want to destroy Israel (Hamas). However menuda negotiations with parties who want to compromise (Fatah). I went back to fight for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, "said Livni.
