GAZA - The positive impact of a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel began to be felt by the people of Gaza, especially the fishermen. They can now go to sea in a longer distance.

Advance by the Israelis they are only allowed to fish in coastal fish very small amount.

"It was like a dream I could sail so far. Here the number of fish very much. I never get this much fish since three years ago, "said one of the fishermen in Gaza Mushtaq Zedan, as quoted by the Christian Science Monitor, Tuesday (27/11/2012).

Israel is not only its land border with the Gaza blockade, but also closes Gaza waters of access in and out of both goods and people. Relaxation of the blockade Israel is one of the conditions that exist in the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Zionist state.

Over the years the fishermen of Gaza continues cornered by the blockade policy by Israel in Gaza waters. In 1993 Gaza fishermen are allowed to sail up to 32 kilometers.

However, since the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip in 2009, fishermen are only allowed to fish only within 5 miles from the beach. Currently they are allowed to sail as far as 10 miles by the Israelis.

Besides fishermen, Gaza farmers also benefit from the ceasefire agreement. Currently they are allowed to cultivate land near the Gaza-Israel border that was previously forbidden territory.

Although several measures easing the blockade has been done by the Israelis. The Jewish state was not ready to fully mebuka border activity in and out of Gaza for goods. Israel worried it was used by Hamas to include weapons.

Currently, Hamas and Israel still run advanced talks to discuss further plans after a successful ceasefire agreement, including the demand that Israel open its blockade of Hamas as a whole. The meeting was held in Cairo, Egypt and returned brokered by the Egyptian government.
