DAMASCUS - Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani visited Syria to express support to President Bashar al-Assad. Larijani also said, as long as Syria is a country that is active in supporting the fight against Israel.
During the visit, Larijani praised Assad is struggling with the Syrian crisis. But Larijani warned participate, the process of democratic reform in Syria, are also important.
"Syria has played an important role in the resistance against Israel and the United States (U.S.). However a number of countries in the Middle East actually want to create new problems in Syria," Larijani said, quoted by SANA, Saturday (24/11/2012).
So far, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas against the Israeli occupation of Arab lands. But the alliance of Syria and Hamas leader Khaled Meshal collapsed after Meshal refused to support Assad. Hamas representative office in Damascus finally closed.

However, there was an armed Palestinian faction, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) which support Assad. They occupied the Yarmouk camp and roaming the streets to aid Assad forces.
In response, the Syrian opposition (Free Syrian Army) immediately decided to arm other Palestinians in Syria. They were asked to support the cause of overthrowing Assad's rule.
"We are arming the Palestinians are willing to war (for us). We have established Liwa al-Asifah (Storm Brigade) which consists of the Palestinian fighters," said an FSA Eagle Brigade Commander.
Besides overthrow Assad, a number of Palestinians who trained FSA will also be used to finish off the PFLP-GC, led by Ahmed Jibril. FSA admitted, the PFLP-GC was also included in the target of their attacks.
