SYDNEY - Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia has been the icon of the city. But the beaches clean water, the color of the water suddenly turns red like blood.
A set of red algae was found to be around the beach. They are known to cause the blue color of the sea water turns red.

This rare sight can occur under the influence of certain weather conditions. Algae is known as a result, around Bondi beach and Gordon's Bay looked like a sea of blood.
"Little issued a fishy smell. Condition coast makes skin itch, but that was caused by this unique algae," said coast guard Australia, Bruce Hopkins, quoted by Orange, on Thursday (11/29/2012).
