ESSEX - A former nurse was able to surprise many with his performance achievement. He managed to become a champion weightlifter in the United Kingdom at the age not young anymore, ie 66 years.
Shy Pat Tombs began to pursue weight lifting since six years ago. Pursue this sport because he wanted to lose weight and improve her confidence.
This blonde woman dubbed The Mighty Atom by colleagues of his gym. Pat is now able to lift nearly 100 pounds, which is twice the weight of the body.
Pat also won three records in his age group for the class of squat, bench press and deadlift in weightlifting contests in Bournemouth.

"After I broke the record in each category, it makes me happy and it is an amazing feeling," said Pat, as quoted by The Sun, (11/12/2012).
Pat is currently working as a personal trainer at the gym in Essex, and she hopes her story will inspire pensioners to try the sport of weightlifting.
