CAIRO - Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi withdrew its ambassador who served in Israel. Repatriation of Egyptian ambassador to Israel in protest over Egypt is Israel's Gaza offensive.
During this time, Mursi fractions derived from the Muslim Brotherhood has always been criticized for failing to respond to incidents of deaths of seven Palestinians on Israeli air strikes.
Israel also further increased its attacks on Gaza and eventually kill the commander of Hamas' military wing Ahmed al-Jaabari.
Approximately 200 people of Egyptians rallied in the streets and urged the Mursi to denounce Israel. As is known, the fraction of the Muslim Brotherhood is a continuation of the Palestinian faction Hamas. But the government remains Mursi good relations with the Jewish State.
"Mursi where your voice. Enough silence, Gazans dying over there," the cry of the people of Egypt in the demonstration, as quoted by the Associated Press, Thursday (15/11/2012).
After the incident took place, a spokesman for Yasser Ali Mursi first announced on television that the Mursi had pulled its ambassador who served in Israel, Atef Sayed al-Ahl. Mursi also increasingly being pressured by the anti-Israel groups that exist in the land of the Pyramids.
Ambassador Atef said he would soon arrive in the city of Cairo this afternoon. But Israeli Foreign Ministry reported that they had not heard any reports of the withdrawal of the Egyptian ambassador.
So far, Egypt and Israel are to cooperate in the field of defense, especially to set up the security in the Sinai Peninsula. Cooperation is already listed in the Camp David agreement, initiated by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
After Mursi came to power, there is the issue of amendments to the peace deal. But until now, the government of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood still maintain the existence of the agreement.
