CAIRO - One of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie criticized the Palestinian and Israeli peace process, after President Mohamed Mursi successfully initiated the truce.
"Our enemy (Israel) does not know anything but violence. Beware the great deception in the name of their 'peace agreement'," Badie said in a statement, as quoted by the Associated Press on Friday (11/23/2012).
Badie statement comes after Israel and Hamas agreed to the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire. During this time, Badie was featured as one Muslim Brotherhood politician who strongly oppose Israel. Badie frequently asked Egyptians to help the Palestinian cause dengna supplying assistance of any kind.
Gaza crisis is a test for the Mursi, also from the same faction Badie. Mursi are required to respect the peace agreement of Egypt and Israel (Camp David) 1979. Meanwhile, Hamas fight against Israel is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.
There are also a number of claims filed in a ceasefire that Hamas has happened. Hamas called for the blockade of Gaza lifted and the doors open its border with Egypt.
The ceasefire agreement also regulates the cessation of rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel. Israel warns Hamas participate, if the agreement is violated, Hamas and Islamic Jihad will not hesitate to strike back to the Jewish State.
