BRUSSELS - A total of 12 member states of the European Union confirmed support for the Palestinians who wish to renew their status at the United Nations (UN). Voting membership is also ready to Palestine at the end of November.
According to EU spokesman Maja Kocijancic, the foreign ministers of all EU countries will debate and discuss the issue of Palestine in Brussels, Belgium, on 19 November. EU still divided in dealing with the Palestinian issue.
"The European Union judge, negotiation is the best way to solve the problem of the Middle East peace," said Kocijancic, EU Observer quoted on Friday (11/09/2012).
A senior EU officials argue, the Palestinian application in the UN General Assembly the same thing as the Palestinian proposal for UN membership to the Board of Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
