This cave was discovered by accident by two miners in 2002. The cave is named Cave of Crystals (Cueva de los Cristales).
The depth of the cave is estimated at 300 meters below sea level. To the uniqueness of this cave is inside the cave contains large pieces of selenite crystals that have formed thousands of years ago.
According to experts, they found a heat source at the bottom of the cave. That is, anyone who can get into the cave could not last more than 10 minutes. Besides this cave temperature reaches 58 degrees Celsius with humidity of 90 to 100 percent.
